Does telepathy exists?

Last night we had some friends, Wil and Hans, over at our place; we had not seen them for many many years. This is, in it’s own, a special occasion. We had dinner together, and well, it felt if we had seen them just a week ago in stead of 10 years. Nothing was changed, we where just a couple of years older, that was all.

What’s special about this, apart from seeing them after such a long time? I tell you.

As you perhaps know I like to take photo’s, but I am not good at it. So a couple of weeks ago I said to my wife that I should take some photographers course or something like that; just to learn more about diaphragm, shutter time, white balance and all that other technical stuff.

Well she said, then you have to call Hans, because he is a professional photographer; he can teach you and show you the secrets of photography.

I would not dare to call him for this, after al those years. Now I happened to have a very brief encounter a year ago with his wife Wil in the little village where we live; we just talked for a couple of minutes and I invited her to come and have a drink at my place sometime, with Hans of course. She said they would, but you know how things go, busy, busy, busy and the only thing that happened was nothing, a big silence.
Until a couple of days after my wife and I had this conversation about the photographers course, then Hans called me by phone; he still had a sticky note on his computer monitor with my name and phone number on it and shouldn’t we make an appointment to have a drink together. I was struck dumb, I tell you I never believed in telepathy and that kind of stuff, but now? I wonder.

Anyway, the rest of the story you can guess. Hans is going to teach me about photography and I am going to help him with his website. I keep you informed of my progress.
